Singer Maha Ali Kazmi has accused Ali Noor

TRIGGER WARNING: discussion of harassment Singer Maha Ali Kazmi has accused Ali Noor, lead singer of Noori, of inappropriate behaviour. Kazmi has said in a video that during auditions for Coke Studio, Ali Noor asked her unprofessional questions while also encouraging her and her husband to visit him in Lahore so he could "mould" her and psychoanalyse her. She also accused him of advising her to take "lots of drugs." This is not the first time Ali Noor has been accused of harassment. In 2022, journalist Ayesha Binte Rashid shared screenshots of a Whatsapp conversation with the singer where she called him out for being a 'predator', saying: “You emotionally manipulated me and what happened in the back of my car while driving to the airport was harassment. You’re a harasser and a predator.”
