Russian artillery fires at Ukrainian positions with self propelled long guns
This footage purports to show Russian artillery firing at Ukrainian positions with a self-propelled long gun.
The images show the long gun being escorted by another vehicle, which can be seen with the now-infamous 'Z' symbol on the back of it.
The 'Z' is one of the symbols, as well as the letters 'V' and 'O' that can be seen painted on Russian military vehicles taking part in the invasion of Ukraine.
The long gun, which can also be seen sporting the notorious, white 'Z' symbol, on its side and on its long gun, can be seen manoeuvring into position.
It can then be seen deploying its weaponry, with at least four soldiers getting it ready to fire.
Two of the long guns can then be seen in the footage, with a soldier relaying instructions into a walkie-talkie.
The weapons then opened fire, with their ordnance reportedly targeting Ukrainian military positions.
The weapons can be seen being reloaded before firing again. The images then cut to explosions in a forested area.
The footage was obtained from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) on Monday, 26th September, along with a statement claiming that the images show the "combat work of crews of high-power, 2S7M 'Malka' self-propelled artillery installations of the Southern Military District.
