Wild Mushroom Tartlets with Onion Sauce

Ingredients:
1 package of mini tartlet shells
1 tablespoon of butter
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 pound of wild mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup of heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh thyme for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Place the mini tartlet shells on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside.
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes or until the onion is translucent.
Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they have released their moisture and are golden brown.
Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Fill each mini tartlet shell with the mushroom mixture.
Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
