Samosa is a common snack in countries such as India, Pakistan, Nepal and Bangladesh and Africa. Its generally consists of a fried triangular pastry shell containing a savory vegetable filling such as spring onion, coriander, green pepper and carrots . Chicken or meat versions are popular as well. Start with Step 1 below to learn how to make the filling and samosa rap (chapatti ), and assemble samosas for frying.
Ingredients
Dough
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons oil or ghee
1 cup water.
Filling
1 cup grounded beef or chicken
1 Chopped green pepper,
1 Chopped red onion,
1 teaspoons fresh ginger
1 teaspoons garlic
2 green chile peppers or as desired.
1 teaspoon ground coriander-cumin seed or your choose of spicy
2 tablespoons oil or ghee
Salt to taste
