Man Happy after Surgery

One patient among them is Rama Reddy,52 years residing in Salia Sahi Basti. of state capital of Odisha. He has no body in his family to look after him while his right leg was amputated some 22 years ago in an accident. He was dependent upon a nearby Sai temple for his 2 time free meals. On the day of eye examination at an out reach camp he was found to have an absolute right eye with no perception of light since very long. He had been striving for vision in left eye which developed cataract presenting visual acuity 6/36.After being brought to Advanced Eye Care Hospital and basing upon thorough clinical evaluations he underwent Cataract Surgery (Advance PHACO Emulsification)) and foldable hydrophobic intraocular lens was implanted by a renowned Ophthalmic Surgeon Professor Dr. Lolly Pattanaik. On the very next day following Surgery the patient was happy to see all that he wanted. Clinically Visually acuity of his operated eye was measured 6/12.All the Surgery cost was borne BSKY, Govt. of Odisha. He thanked Advanced Eye Care Hospital with the Staff as he could regain his sight.
