Ukraine Kills 50 Russian Troops Kamikaze Drones Strike Kyiv
Russia allegedly used Iranian kamikaze drones to attack Kyiv on October 17, causing a fire in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Reports claim Ukraine’s anti-aircraft batteries tried to shoot down the loitering munitions. A Reuters journalist claims to have seen fragments of a drone used in the attack that had "For Belgorod" written on it.
Fierce fighting is reportedly underway in Donbas, where the Ukrainian military is battling the Russians, including 2000 prisoners. Ukraine’s Air Force claims its anti-aircraft missile units destroyed nine Shahed-136 Iranian-made kamikaze drones in an hour in southern Ukraine.
