Russian troops stationed in Kherson have recently been projecting a withdrawal from the west bank of the Dnipro river. Signs of Russian withdrawal came amid Moscow’s claims that Kyiv is planning to strike the Nova Kakhovka dam to flood the region. However, Ukraine claims that the ostensible Russian retreat is actually a strategy to trap Ukrainian soldiers.
