DRAMA AT AIR SHOW EXERCISE F18 Fighter Jet has No Chance The F-18 fighter jet crashes while practicing for an air show. Recordings from amateur filmmakers show how the jet suddenly rushes straight down towards the earth, and then there is an explosion. The Spanish Aeronautics and Space Agency confirms the accident that occurs at the Zaragoza air base. According to reports, the pilot of the Spanish 15th Squadron managed to eject the plane seconds before it hit the military compound. The experienced fighter pilot is said to have had "a problem" and lost control of the plane. He injured his legs, hips and arms in the impact. A helicopter takes the injured man to the hospital, but his life is not in danger. The plane is completely destroyed some wreckage is said to have been found outside of the military compound. Luckily the flight is just a practice for Family Day on June 10th and caused no further damage. The cause of the crash is still unclear. The investigation is ongoing...
