Metaphor: ReFantazio is half off in Sega's Year of the Horse sale

Metaphor: ReFantazio is 50% off on Steam as part of Sega's Year of the Horse sale, bringing the price to $35 (£30). The discount does not include its optional DLC that adds Persona-style school uniforms for the characters. PC Gamer gave the game a 95% review score and named it the best RPG of 2024.

Atlus' polychromatic RPG puts you in the shoes of a young man on a quest to defeat racism forever via turn-based combat. The project was led by Katsura Hashino with art by Shigenori Soejima, and it often feels like the studio gave them wide creative freedom. Players who have enjoyed Persona games will likely find a lot to like in Metaphor.

Several Persona entries are discounted as well: the Persona 3 remake is 60% off for $24 (£22), Persona 5 Royal is 70% off for $18 (£15), and offshoots such as Persona 5 Tactica and Strikers are also reduced.
