Officially, the city with this name appeared in 1703. The beginning was the arms factory founded by order of Peter the Great. Modern buildings here are adjacent to the historical one; in addition to architecture, there are many attractions in the city. The main ones are concentrated in the historical part of the city near the embankment of Lake Onega.
