"Shine is a song by the British reggae band Aswad. The song was written by Joe Kahn and Aswad, who also produced it. Released in early 1994 in a radically redesigned form courtesy of Beatmasters, it was the first single from the band's album Rise and Shine. It is the band's second biggest hit in the United Kingdom after 1988's "Don't Turn Around", peaking at number five on the UK Singles Chart. "Shine" also entered the top 40 charts of a number of European countries and New Zealand.
