Both exercises are great for targeting the upper glutes, but the mechanics and resistance profile of each completely change where the movement gets more difficult! Extension at 45° (Resistance Profile in Bells): The peak effort occurs in the middle of the range of movement, exactly when the trunk is perpendicular to gravity. Horizontal Extension (Ascending Resistance Profile): The most difficult point is at the top of the repetition, requiring the maximum amount of the glute in the position of full contraction. Knowing where the exercise gets heavier helps you vary the stimulus and enhance your glute training! 🏋️‍♀️✨ #GluteWorkout #WomensStrengthTraining #TrainingTips #Biomechanics #GluteGrowth
