Construção Prédio Gigante

A one-kilometer-tall building isn't simply a larger version of a standard building. Beyond a certain scale, scaling up existing solutions is no longer enough. Jeddah Tower has already reached a height of around 430 meters and is designed to surpass the 1,000-meter mark. And that is where engineering enters a whole new realm. Wind forces dictate the tower's very geometry. The foundation relies on 270 piles reaching depths of up to 105 meters. Pumping concrete, transporting people, managing structural deformation, and coordinating construction become entirely different challenges. Perhaps the most interesting aspect of this project isn't even the height. It is realizing that when the scale shifts significantly, the rules of the problem change along with it. If you were on the team for this project, which challenge would worry you the most: wind, foundations, high-altitude concrete pouring, or vertical logistics? #build #impressive #predio
