Prince Harry Reveals He ‘Slipped into Depression’ After Relocating Abroad
Speaking in a MasterClass session titled Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss alongside neuroscientist Dr. Mary-Frances O'Connor, the Duke detailed the physical and psychological impact of leaving the high-pressure environment of the UK in late 2019.
"My body was used to operating on adrenaline for so many years," Harry explained, noting that the immediate removal of that stress resulted in a severe "adrenaline crash" within days of arrival.
The sudden drop in stress levels left him feeling emotionally immobilized and struggling to perform basic daily tasks around the house for nearly two weeks.
