Making Use of Every Part of the Lotus: Flowers, Leaves, and Roots 2023

Another year in the lotus season, I found some lotus flowers, lotus leaves, lotus root strips and lotus roots to make a few summer seasonal dishes. The leftover lotus roots were used to make sweet-scented osmanthus nuts and lotus root powder, my old lady’s exclusive dessert! 2023
