ExpressVPN unveils ExpressAI, ExpressKeys and ExpressMailGuard
Zdnet reports ExpressVPN has announced three new services — ExpressKeys and ExpressMailGuard are available now, with ExpressAI set to launch later — as the company expands beyond VPN into a broader security suite. The firm says older ExpressVPN apps will be deprecated on March 31, 2026, and users will need to update by that date to retain access to VPN servers.
ExpressAI is described as a "private-by-design" AI platform combining confidential computing with AI applications for general queries and tasks, including information requests and image generation. Zdnet says launch models will include GPTOSS 20B, DeepSeek R1 Distill, Qwen2-VL 2B, Qwen3 32B and NVIDIA Nemotron, and that the service uses an "enclave architecture," zero-access end-to-end encryption, automatic message deletion, and an encrypted chat history protected by a primary password.
