APPREHENDED 4 GANJA SUPPLIERS, 1TRANSPORTER AND (02) PEDLLERS SEIZED 80 KGs OF GANJA,6 CELL PHONES AND (01) MODIFIED ASHOK LEYLAND TROLLY – ALL WORTH OF Rs.30,00,000/- The sleuths of the Hyderabad Narcotic Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with Bahadurpura Police apprehended (04) Ganja suppliers, (01) transporter and (02) peddlers. The accused were found with illegal possession of Narcotic Drugs i.e., Ganja under Bahadurpura PS limits, Hyderabad. Total seized: 80 Kgs of Ganja, (06) Cell Phones and (01) Modified Ashoka Leyland Trolly at the instance of the accused persons. DETAILS OF THE GANJA SUPPLIERS: - 1)Pangi Pandanna, Age: 38 yrs., Occ: Farmer, R/o Valasagadda, Alluri Sitharama Raju Dist., AP State. 2)Korra Sitaram, Age: 27 yrs, Occ: Farmer, R/o Valasagadda, Alluri Sitharama Raju Dist., AP State. 3)Korra Subbanna, Age: 22 yrs, Occ: Farmer, R/o Valasagadda, Alluri Sitharama Raju Dist., AP State. 4)Pangi Krishna Murthy, Age: 24 yrs, Occ: Farmer, R/o. Valasagadda, Alluri Sitharama Raju Dist., AP State. DETAILS OF GANJA TRANSPORTER: - 1)Tejavath Kotesh, Age: 24 yrs, Occ: Farmer, R/o. Maripada Banglow, Mahabubabad, Warangal. The accused previously involved in 2 cases 1.Cr.No.110/2023 of Golconda PS. 2.Cr. No.211/2018 of Choutuppal PS. DETAILS OF GANJA PEDDLERS: - 1)Rakesh Singh, Age: 41 Yrs., Occ: Ganesh Idol Maker, R/o Dhoolpet, Hyderabad. 2)Bajrang, Age: 27 Yrs., R/o. Occ: Daily Wager, Dhoolpet, Hyderabad. SEIZED MATERIAL: - 1)(80) Kgs of Ganga. 2)(06) Cell Phones. 3)(01) Modified Ashok Leyland Trolly br. No. TS 36 TA 3047. All W.Rs.30,00,000/- BRIEF FACTS ABOUT THE ACCUSED: The prime accused Tejavath Kotesh is a resident of Mahabubabad, Warangal Dist. Initially in the year 2018 he used to travel Sileru, Andhra Pradesh in Bus and used to procure Ganja in small quantity and supplied to the Dhoolpet peddlers. In the year 2022 he purchased a Ashoka Leyland Auto Trolly, Modified the trolly by creating few hidden cabins for concealing the ganja and started procuring the ganja in bulk quantities from cultivators i.e., Pangi Pandanna, Korra Sitaram, Korra Subbanna, Pangi Krishna Murthy (all are residents of Valasagadda, Sileru, Alluri Sitharama Raju District, AP State) and transporting the same to Dhoolpet peddlers i.e., Rakesh Singh, Bajrang, Nala Shanker, Sheela Bai and others. Previously, the above cultivators used to cultivate Ganja at Valasagadda, Sileru, Alluri Sitharama Raju Dist., AP State. Due to difficulty in cultivating Ganja in AP. Then, they started procuring the Ganja from Malkangiri Dist., Odisha State. A case was registered in Cr.No.110/2023 of Golconda PS against Ramesh, Bayya Ravi and Beereddy Naveen Reddy and arrested them for procuring Ganja from Tejavath Kotesh. On credible information, Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) along with Bahadurpura PS apprehended the accused persons under the limits of Bahadurpura PS and Seized 80 Kgs of Ganja, (06) Cell Phones and (01) Modified Ashok Leyland Trolly from their possession. The investigation is being continued to identify the Ganja consumers. APPEAL TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC: - In recent times we have seen several youth/students getting addicted to Drugs, committing crime and involving in other anti-social activities. Several families have become victims of this menace. It is an ardent request from Hyderabad City Police to the youth/students not to fall prey to drugs and request the parents to keep a watch on the activities of their children and feel free to approach police or pass information to Police on Phone No. 8712661601 to curtail such anti-social activities and strive for Drug free city. The arrests were made under the supervision of Sri Chakravarthy Gummi, Dy. Commissioner of Police, H-NEW by Sri P. Rajesh, Inspector of Police, H-NEW, Sri G.S.
